Frustrations

I am frustrated.. I am devastated...

I had an argument with my parents regarding on my posts on facebook since now they "don't want me to question the government as it will be put me on jail"... So be it honestly! Does this government just want to hear only good things from its citizen? They don't want to be criticized for their wrong doing? If so, THEY BETTER RESIGN! Criticism will always be there... Just had to swallow them and accept them so that we can check what is wrong and what is right and try to tweak and/or correct it! May mga isip na po tayo! Alam naman dapat ang tama at mali and honestly as I'm reviewing my posts on facebook, I don't see any harm in it. Im sadden that my parents wanted me to stop voicing my opinion in it.. yes i know naman not all opinion should be public or voiced out... this is why i keep my facebook private as much as possible... but being told to stop voicing out my opinions is like silencing me... this isnt the first time they've done it to me.. but this time i wont be silence! People know me to be very opinionated... sa kanila lang naman ako nag oopinion kasi pag sa parents ko, what i say is not important sa kanila... they always make me feel this way... Also I am not questioning the government... I am venting frustrations only.. di ko naman pinost or nag post na magnanakaw ako ng relief goods no... I post none of that! Im just expressing my sadness to those people na nawalan ng trabaho, yung dami nag dodonate na private sector sa government pero di pa din nabibigay kasi need pa nagrequest... Those are the only stuff i said! Now my parents wants to stop me to protect me from any criminal cases the government might file against me for allegedly questioning it and this is what saddens me.. this post is no longer about the government.. this is now about my own person... I'm already 25 going 26 and my interpersonal skills is still awkward but I'm trying and still living with them.. i can't get out because they don't want me to do jobs like call center "kasi bakit pa ako nag aral kung yan lang man din gahawin ko"... I feel like im on a cage... i love my parents so much but sometimes... Its too much already... They made me think I'm a failure without them realizing... Its like they're saying na wala akong mararating sa buhay! I know they mean good naman for me but sometimes... Its too much... I keep telling myself na I can't be depressed kasi psych major ako.. kakayanin ko to and i just let them be... i have thought of a lot of unthinkable stuff and I'm glad i still hanging... Minsan the only way for me to vent out is to have temper outburst on them and if i did... I'm always the bad child... What else can i do? If they want to deprived me from being opinionated as well? I think going to jail might be better because i might be free by being there...

Maitum, Saranggani Province Nlu White Water Tubing : An Experience Worth Risking

UPDATE: VIDEO BELOW

"An Experience Worth Risking" that's the only thing that me and my friends blabber while we went home from the venue.

Cold River Water.

All Smiles and ready to go!

At the stop with my friends and GMA TV crew!

What am I talking about? An experience at one of the most unexplored places in Mindanao - Maitum, Saranggani Province. It is one of the hidden gem of Mindanao. It has a lot to offer especially with it's ecotourism. So if you have time, I suggest for you to explore this place especially this summer season as the water is so clear and the torrent is not that harsh but if you really wanted adventure, you can always wait for the summer rain. Why? Because the torrent is just too much and it is indeed an adventure of once in a lifetime! XD I'm not saying to go there when it's raining because I highly doubt that the Officer-in-Charge of the area, Digs Movilla, will allow it since it would be dangerous to both the tourist and the guide to do the adventure with those rapids of water but all in all, we actually did this adventure 3 times!

NOTE: You should bring a slipper with straps or diving shoes on it or you'll look like me.
In case you are wondering how you'll go to the starting point of the adventure, you will actually ride a habal-habal and it's for free. It is already part of the 200/300 pesos that you're going to pay.

From General Santos City or Gensan, you can catch a bus or a van going to Maitum for 150 pesos for the bus and 130 pesos for the van but I suggest, If you are a group of at least 10, you can actually rent the van for 150 per head and you will be directed to the venue but if you want to do more that, you can actually rent a van per day. The rate starts at 2500 - 3500 per day - it all depends on the van company and you will pay for the gasoline of the vehicle which is I believe more cheaper if you really wanted to explore the area and if you have other places to go.

If you are only a typical explorer, a loner or on a small group, if you have car, you can go there. You can always trust google maps for that (trust me) but you can always ask the locals about the location. But if you and your squad want to be an explorer like what we did you can ride a van or bus as stated before to Maitum and you can ask the driver to drop you off to crossing Barangay Pangi. Then, you can ride a tricycle from crossing Brgy. Pangi to Brgy. New La Union - the location of Nlu White Water Tubing, for 50 pesos. At the venue, you can choose what adventure would you like to take. They have a lot to offer and a lot of things to explore. Below are the things you could do there:

The things you could do on Nlu White Water Tubing. I suggest you do everything! :)
All Smiles.

There's two type of water activity you can try - the regular 1.6 KM and 2.1 KM ( I heard that they will open the 4 KM in the future). The 1.6 KM ride is good for 200 pesos while the 2.1 KM is for 300 pesos. You might think that the 500 m difference is not worth it especially that it will cost you 100 pesos more but I suggest you get the 2.1 KM one. Why? It is because you can explore the location more because you will walk from the dropped off point up above the starting point of the river and there's a great scenery there for you to take pictures and just enjoy nature. It's a shame that we we're not able to take any pictures of it since the GoPro's SD card that we use was broken and we were not able to save all of the pictures that we took.:(

This is a screenshot from my video. This is really a nice spot for you to take pictures. It's a shame that the pictures we took here where not saved.

All in all, the experience is all worth it and it's dirt cheap to be very honest. If you are a student and you want to have some adventure, you can do this, it will not break your bank! We did this 3 times in one day (I will post a separate blog post for that). You can contact Digs Movilla 09103127772. I suggest you contact him early in the morning or at night since he said, when he's in the area, there's no signal and he's right.

BTW, he is our silly guide and the one that took all our videos and pictures. I suggest you let him take your videos and pictures. He's a real pro! You can trust him in this.
Doing it with this adventure is all worth it!

This place is worth it! <3

If you want to know more, send me a PM or post a comment below.  I will post some videos later on so please like my FB page for updates! :)

[POEM] I Know What I Need To Do.

Hi,

I told you before that I do love to write some stuff right? However, this will be the first time I'll post my product and it's a poem that I wrote for one of my subject and it tells you what you should need to do to be good and have good manners and right conduct.. Cheesy right? But I was thinking of all the kids right now that I think have lost their conduct especially when dealing with other people... Without further ado, here it is.

I Know What I Need To Do
By: JAM

I know what I need to do
The journey I’ll take and what’s it up to
What, when, where is not the question
It is the “who would I be?” and also my mission.

I know what I need to do
I need to be good so that others will be good to me too
For people not to misunderstand me and the things I’ll do
I need self-respect and discipline for me and others too.

I don’t have to please anyone and everyone
I need to do this for myself to grow as a fine young man.
To have a good manners and right conduct is etiquette for a person
Self-discipline is the way and only reason.

Now that I know what I need to do
I have to share this to everyone too
I have to teach everyone through my word
So that goodness and love will spread all throughout the world.

It might be grammatically incorrect so comment down below to help me improve it... :)
